Product Definition
The LED human body infrared sensor (model TIP-2026) is a motion-activated control switch designed for DC5-24V LED lighting systems. Using a PIR (Passive Infrared) motion sensor, it detects human presence and automatically switches LED lights on and off, enhancing lighting convenience and energy efficiency.
Key Features
• PIR motion-activated on/off control for LED lighting
• Wide input voltage range (DC5-24V) for flexible system compatibility
• Adjustable induction delay time (18–360s)
• Max. current handling up to 5A
• Compact form factor suitable for cabinet and wardrobe installation
Typical Applications
• Cabinet and wardrobe LED lighting
• Corridor or hallway LED control
• Stairway LED lighting automation
• Cupboard and display lighting systems
Working Principle
The built-in PIR sensor detects infrared energy changes caused by a moving human body. When motion is detected within the sensing range (3–5m), the sensor activates the LED lights. After no motion is detected for a period, the sensor switches the lights off automatically, conserving power.
Installation & Usage Notes
• Ensure correct DC5-24V LED power supply connection — do NOT connect to mains AC directly
• Position the sensor where motion detection is unobstructed
• Adjust delay time based on user preference and environment
Summary
This TIP-2026 human body infrared sensor offers a hands-free, motion-activated LED control solution that enhances user convenience and saves energy in a variety of indoor lighting applications.
